कांदिशीके च वीरे च समवर्तीः यमः स्मृतः । चित्रगुप्तेरितं वाक्यं श्रुत्वा ते पापिनस्तदा ॥ ५२ ॥

കാംദിശീകയിലും വീരയിലും യമനെ ‘സമവർതി’ (നിഷ്പക്ഷ വിധാതാവ്) എന്നു സ്മരിക്കുന്നു. ചിത്രഗുപ്തൻ ഉച്ചരിച്ച വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ ആ പാപികൾ അപ്പോൾ തന്നെ അടങ്ങി നിശ്ശബ്ദരായി.
