Prāyaścitta for Mahāpātakas and the Sin-destroying Power of Viṣṇu-smaraṇa
तत्तु लौहेन पात्रेण ह्यायसेनाथवा पिबेत् । ताम्रेण वाथं पात्रेण तत्पीत्वा मरणं व्रजेत् ॥ २६ ॥
tattu lauhena pātreṇa hyāyasenāthavā pibet | tāmreṇa vāthaṃ pātreṇa tatpītvā maraṇaṃ vrajet || 26 ||
അത് ഇരുമ്പുപാത്രത്തിലോ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ആയസ (ഉക്കു) പാത്രത്തിലോ മാത്രം പാനം ചെയ്യണം. എന്നാൽ ചെമ്പുപാത്രത്തിൽ കുടിച്ചാൽ, കുടിച്ച ശേഷം മരണത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നു.
