Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes that ritual efficacy depends on mental composure (samāhita) and proper invocation, directing the offering of food as a sanctified act aligned with Vedic deities (the Viśvedevās).
Even in a procedural rite, devotion is expressed through reverent invitation and mindful offering—treating the divine as present and worthy of hospitality, which is a practical form of bhakti.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is implied: the verse gives a step—anna-tyāga/food-offering with a specific deva-invocation—showing how actions are sequenced and performed with correct intent.
