नाभिवाद्याश्च विप्रेण क्षत्रियाद्याः कथंचन । नास्तिकं भिन्नमर्यादं कृतन्घं ग्रामयाजकम् ॥ ३६ ॥

Transliteration

nābhivādyāśca vipreṇa kṣatriyādyāḥ kathaṃcana | nāstikaṃ bhinnamaryādaṃ kṛtanghaṃ grāmayājakam || 36 ||

Translation

ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ യാതൊരു സാഹചര്യത്തിലും ക്ഷത്രിയാദി (താഴ്ന്ന വർണ്ണങ്ങൾ)ക്ക് അധീനമായി അഭിവാദ്യം ചെയ്യരുത്. അതുപോലെ നാസ്തികൻ, മര്യാദലംഘകൻ, കൃതഘ്നൻ, ഉപജീവനാർത്ഥം ഗ്രാമയാജകൻ എന്നിവരെയും പരിത്യജിക്കണം.
