Nārada’s Hymn to Viṣṇu

Nāradasya Viṣṇu-stavaḥ

यन्नामसङ्कीर्तनतो गजेन्द्रो ग्राहोग्रबन्धान्मुमुचे स देवः । विराजमानः स्वपदे पराख्ये तं विष्णुमाद्यं शरणं प्रपद्ये ॥ २७ ॥

yannāmasaṅkīrtanato gajendro grāhograbandhānmumuce sa devaḥ | virājamānaḥ svapade parākhye taṃ viṣṇumādyaṃ śaraṇaṃ prapadye || 27 ||

ആരുടെ നാമസങ്കീർത്തനം മാത്രത്താൽ ഗജേന്ദ്രരാജൻ ഗ്രാഹത്തിന്റെ ഭീകരബന്ധനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മോചിതനായി—ആ പ്രഭു ‘പര’ എന്ന സ്വപരമ പദത്തിൽ ദീപ്തമായി വിരാജിക്കുന്നു. ആ ആദി വിഷ്ണുവിൽ ഞാൻ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
