Bhāgīratha’s Bringing of the Gaṅgā

देवा ऊचुः । नताःस्म विष्णुं जगदेकनाथं स्मरत्समस्तार्तिहरं परेशम् । स्वभावशुद्धं परिपूर्णभावं वदन्ति यज्ज्ञानतनुं च तज्ज्ञाः ॥ ५४ ॥

devā ūcuḥ | natāḥsma viṣṇuṃ jagadekanāthaṃ smaratsamastārtiharaṃ pareśam | svabhāvaśuddhaṃ paripūrṇabhāvaṃ vadanti yajjñānatanuṃ ca tajjñāḥ || 54 ||

ദേവന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു—ജഗത്തിന്റെ ഏകനാഥനായ വിഷ്ണുവിനെ ഞങ്ങൾ നമസ്കരിക്കുന്നു; അവനെ സ്മരിച്ചാൽ സകല ആർ‍ത്തികളും അകന്നു പോകുന്നു, അവൻ പരമേശ്വരൻ. അവന്റെ സ്വഭാവം ശുദ്ധവും ഭാവം പരിപൂർണ്ണവും; ജ്ഞാനികൾ അവനെ ജ്ഞാനസ്വരൂപനെന്നു പറയുന്നു।
