यः श्रृणोति महन्निन्दां सादरं तत्फलं श्रृणु । तेषां कर्णेषु दाप्यन्ते तप्तायः कीलसंचयाः ॥ ७७ ॥
yaḥ śrṛṇoti mahannindāṃ sādaraṃ tatphalaṃ śrṛṇu | teṣāṃ karṇeṣu dāpyante taptāyaḥ kīlasaṃcayāḥ || 77 ||
ആദരത്തോടെ മഹാനിന്ദ കേൾക്കുന്നവന്റെ ഫലം കേൾക്കുക: അത്തരക്കാരുടെ ചെവികളിൽ ചുവന്നുതിളക്കുന്ന ഇരുമ്പ് ആണികളുടെ കൂട്ടങ്ങൾ കുത്തിവെക്കപ്പെടുന്നു।
