इत्युक्त्वा देवेदेवशो ह्यदितिं देवमातरम् । दत्त्वा कण्ठगतां मालामभयं च तिरोदधे ॥ ६६ ॥

ityuktvā devedevaśo hyaditiṃ devamātaram | dattvā kaṇṭhagatāṃ mālāmabhayaṃ ca tirodadhe || 66 ||

ഇങ്ങനെ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത് ദേവദേവേശ്വരൻ ദേവമാതാവായ അദിതിയെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തു; പിന്നെ തന്റെ കണ്ഠത്തിലെ മാല അവൾക്കു അണിയിച്ച് അഭയം നൽകി അന്തർധാനം ചെയ്തു।
