FAQs

It shows that the Narada Purana preserves Vedanga knowledge—especially Chandas—because correct mantra recitation and metrical discipline are treated as supportive disciplines for clarity of study and steady contemplation in Moksha-dharma.

Indirectly: by teaching prosody, it supports accurate chanting and recitation of stotras and mantras—practices that stabilize the mind and deepen Vishnu-bhakti through disciplined sound and rhythm.

Vedanga Chandas: a positional rule for metrical gaṇas—ma-gaṇa can appear anywhere, ya at the beginning, ra in the middle, and sa at the end—useful for scanning and composing Sanskrit metres.
