उद्दिष्टांकसमाहारः सैको वा जनयेदिमाम् । संख्यैव द्विगुणैकोना सद्भिरध्वा प्रकीर्तितः ॥ २० ॥
uddiṣṭāṃkasamāhāraḥ saiko vā janayedimām | saṃkhyaiva dviguṇaikonā sadbhiradhvā prakīrtitaḥ || 20 ||
ഉദ്ദിഷ്ട അങ്കങ്ങളുടെ ആകെ—അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ആ ആകെയിൽ ഒന്ന് കൂട്ടിയത്—ഈ ഫലം ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. സജ്ജനർ പറയുന്നു: ‘അധ്വൻ’ എന്നത് സംഖ്യയുടെ ഇരട്ടിയിൽ നിന്ന് ഒന്ന് കുറവായ സംഖ്യ തന്നെയാണ്॥२०॥
