वरणधातुरर्केन्दू तुदते सर्वपर्वणि । विक्षेपावनतेर्वंगाद्रा हुर्दूरगतस्तयोः ॥ ८० ॥

Transliteration

varaṇadhāturarkendū tudate sarvaparvaṇi | vikṣepāvanatervaṃgādrā hurdūragatastayoḥ || 80 ||

Translation

‘വരണ’ ധാതു ‘അർക്ക’യും ‘ഇന്ദു’വും എന്ന സമാസങ്ങളെ ഓരോ സംധി-സ്ഥാനത്തും തൊടിച്ച് (തുദിച്ച്) ബാധിക്കുന്നു; ‘വിക്ഷേപ’വും ‘അവനതി’യും മൂലം ‘വംഗാ’യും ‘അദ്രാ’യും അവയിൽ നിന്ന് ദൂരപ്പെടുന്നു എന്ന് പറയുന്നു.
