द्विभाटजोदिमास्तस्य पंचमैकादशास्त्रिभात् । यन्नक्षत्रोदितो जीवस्तन्नक्षत्राख्यवत्सरः ॥ ५३ ॥
dvibhāṭajodimāstasya paṃcamaikādaśāstribhāt | yannakṣatrodito jīvastannakṣatrākhyavatsaraḥ || 53 ||
ആ ചക്രത്തിലെ മാസങ്ങൾ നക്ഷത്രവിഭാഗങ്ങൾ പ്രകാരം—രണ്ട്, അഞ്ച്, പതിനൊന്ന്, മൂന്ന്—എന്ന് കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ഏത് നക്ഷത്രത്തിൽ ഗുരു (ജീവ) ഉദിക്കുന്നുവോ, ആ വർഷം ആ നക്ഷത്രനാമത്തിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു।
