Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhayanaka
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It classifies certain ‘gatis’ (destinies/paths) as dreadful or inauspicious when the jiva’s karmic trajectory aligns with specific deva-designations, emphasizing that actions and their subtle affiliations shape one’s post-mortem course.
By contrasting fearful and sin-termed destinies, it implicitly supports the Moksha-Dharma theme that one should turn away from karma that yields harsh gati and orient life toward purifying devotion and dharma that lead to auspicious ends.
It reflects a Vedic-nigama style of deity-classification and karmaphala mapping—useful for understanding ritual-theology (yajña-devatā associations) and the cosmological framework often employed alongside Jyotiṣa-style naming of divine forms.
