लंकोदयात्स्याद्वारादिस्तस्मादूर्ध्वमधोऽपिवा । देशांतरस्वचरार्द्धनाडीभिरपरे भवेत् ॥ १५९ ॥

Transliteration

laṃkodayātsyādvārādistasmādūrdhvamadho'pivā | deśāṃtarasvacarārddhanāḍībhirapare bhavet || 159 ||

Translation

ലങ്കയിലെ സൂര്യോദയത്തെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി ദ്വാരകാദി സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലെ സമയം നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു—എവിടെയോ മുന്നിലായി, എവിടെയോ പിന്നിലായി. മറ്റു ദേശങ്ങളിൽ ദേശാന്തരത്തിലെ സ്വചരമനുസരിച്ച് അർദ്ധനാഡികളാൽ വ്യത്യാസം കണക്കാക്കുന്നു।
