Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā
चंद्रागांतरगैः खेटैः सूतिकाः समुदाहृताः । चक्राद्धि बहिरंतश्च दृश्यादृश्योपरेऽन्यथा ॥ ९० ॥
caṃdrāgāṃtaragaiḥ kheṭaiḥ sūtikāḥ samudāhṛtāḥ | cakrāddhi bahiraṃtaśca dṛśyādṛśyopare'nyathā || 90 ||
ചന്ദ്രഗതിയുടെ പരിധിക്കുള്ളിൽ സംഭവിക്കുന്ന ഗ്രഹസൂചനകളെ ‘സൂതികാ’ എന്നു പറയുന്നു। അവ ചക്രത്തിന് പുറത്തോ അകത്തോ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടാം; ഉർദ്ധ്വലോകങ്ങളിൽ ചിലപ്പോൾ ദൃശ്യം, ചിലപ്പോൾ അദൃശ്യം—മറ്റുവിധത്തിലും പ്രകടമാകും।
