Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a technical classification within dharma instruction)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames Jyotiṣa (a Vedāṅga) as a dharmic tool: celestial configurations are presented as part of the orderly karmic pattern through which births, tendencies, and social lineages manifest.
Indirectly: by emphasizing cosmic order and karma, it supports the Mokṣa-dharma message that one should not cling to birth-based identity but pursue liberation through disciplined dharma and devotion beyond mere lineage.
Jyotiṣa: the use of divisional measures like tryaṃśa, planetary conjunctions (grahānvita), and named yogas (dvīkṣā-yoga) to interpret outcomes such as birth in a particular lineage.
