Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā
हित्वा भाज्यंगभागादीन्कलीकृत्य खखाक्षिभिः । भजेद्वर्षाणि शेषे तु गुणिते द्वादशादिभिः ॥ १२८ ॥
hitvā bhājyaṃgabhāgādīnkalīkṛtya khakhākṣibhiḥ | bhajedvarṣāṇi śeṣe tu guṇite dvādaśādibhiḥ || 128 ||
ഭാജ്യത്തിലെ അംശഭാഗങ്ങളും ഭിന്നഭാഗങ്ങളും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച്, ‘ഖ-ഖ-അക്ഷി’ സംഖ്യകളാൽ ശേഷത്തെ കലിയുഗ-ഗണനയായി മാറ്റി വർഷങ്ങൾ കണക്കാക്കണം. ശേഷമുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അത് പന്ത്രണ്ട് മുതലായ ഘടകങ്ങളാൽ ഗുണിക്കണം.
