चापोननिघ्नः परिधिः प्रगङ्लः परिधेः कृते । तुर्यांशेन शरध्नेनाघेनिनाधं चतुर्गणम् ॥ ४९ ॥
cāponanighnaḥ paridhiḥ pragaṅlaḥ paridheḥ kṛte | turyāṃśena śaradhnenāgheninādhaṃ caturgaṇam || 49 ||
വ്യാസത്തെ നിശ്ചിത ഗുണകത്തോടെ ഗുണിച്ചാൽ പരിധി ലഭിക്കുന്നു. പരിധി നിർണ്ണയത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞ നിയമപ്രകാരം ചതുർത്ഥാംശ-ശുദ്ധി വരുത്തി ചതുർഗണ ക്രമത്തിൽ കണക്കാക്കണം.
