गणिते परिकर्मादि खगमध्यस्फुटक्रिंये । अनुयोगश्चंद्रसूर्यग्रहणं तचोदस्याकम् ॥ ३ ॥

gaṇite parikarmādi khagamadhyasphuṭakriṃye | anuyogaścaṃdrasūryagrahaṇaṃ tacodasyākam || 3 ||

ഗണിതത്തിൽ പരികർമാദി, ഖഗമധ്യത്തിന്റെ സ്ഫുടക്രിയ, അനുയോഗം, ചന്ദ്ര-സൂര്യഗ്രഹണങ്ങളുടെ ഗണനയും അവയുടെ കാരണനിർണ്ണയവിധിയും വിവരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു।
