सत्यानाग्यास्तथा पुंसो मतभ्रमरदीर्घपात् । धनाकृसोमौ चागर्हस्तविर्ग्रथास्वर्णन्बहू ॥ ४६ ॥

Transliteration

satyānāgyāstathā puṃso matabhramaradīrghapāt | dhanākṛsomau cāgarhastavirgrathāsvarṇanbahū || 46 ||

Translation

പുരുഷനു സത്യനിഷ്ഠയും കപടരഹിതത്വവും വിധേയമാണ്; അഭിപ്രായഭ്രമവും ദീർഘപതനവും (നാശം) ഒഴിവാക്കണം. ധനലോഭവും ശക്തി/വീര്യക്ഷയവും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കണം; നിന്ദ്യജീവിക, കുഴഞ്ഞ വിരുദ്ധാചരണം, സ്വർണ്ണാസക്തി എന്നിവയിൽ ഏർപ്പെടരുത്।
