Kalpa-Lakṣaṇa and Gṛhya-Kalpa: Classifications, Purifications, Implements, and Spatial Rite-Design

कुशाः परिसमूहाय व्यस्तशाखाः प्रकीर्तिताः । न्यूनाधिका निष्फलाय कर्मणोऽभिमतस्य च ॥ १२ ॥

kuśāḥ parisamūhāya vyastaśākhāḥ prakīrtitāḥ | nyūnādhikā niṣphalāya karmaṇo'bhimatasya ca || 12 ||

കുശയെ ‘പരിസമൂഹ’ത്തിനായി കട്ടിയുള്ള കെട്ടായി കൂട്ടി, അഗ്രഭാഗങ്ങൾ വേർതിരിച്ച് എടുക്കണമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; കുറവോ കൂടുതലോ ആകുമ്പോൾ അഭിപ്രേത കർമ്മം ഫലഹീനമാകും।
