प्रसाधितवती तद्वै भर्तुर्वचनगौरवात् । न भुक्तवंतमिच्छातो मिष्टमन्नं महामुनिम् ॥ ४८ ॥
prasādhitavatī tadvai bharturvacanagauravāt | na bhuktavaṃtamicchāto miṣṭamannaṃ mahāmunim || 48 ||
ഭർത്താവിന്റെ വചനത്തിന് ഗൗരവം കാട്ടി അവൾ അതു തീർച്ചയായും ഒരുക്കി; എന്നാൽ മഹാമുനി ഇതുവരെ ഭോജനം ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലാത്തതിനാൽ, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് മധുരാന്നം കൊടുക്കാൻ അവൾ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചില്ല.
