The Outline (Anukramaṇī) of the Vāyavīya (Vāyu) Purāṇa

नियमेन हविष्याशी स रुद्रो नात्र संशयः । यश्चानुक्रमणीमेतां श्रृणोति श्रावयेत्तथा ॥ १९ ॥

niyamena haviṣyāśī sa rudro nātra saṃśayaḥ | yaścānukramaṇīmetāṃ śrṛṇoti śrāvayettathā || 19 ||

നിയമത്തോടെ ഹവിഷ്യാഹാരം കഴിക്കുന്നവൻ രുദ്രസ്വരൂപനാകുന്നു—ഇതിൽ സംശയമില്ല. ഈ അനുക്രമണിക കേൾക്കുന്നവനും മറ്റുള്ളവർക്ക് കേൾപ്പിക്കുന്നവനും പുണ്യം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു॥
