यया त्वाश्रितया पापं विधूयेह व्रजेद्दिवम् । तृतीये वैश्यजातीनां वृत्तिरुक्ता चतुर्विधा ॥ १६ ॥

yayā tvāśritayā pāpaṃ vidhūyeha vrajeddivam | tṛtīye vaiśyajātīnāṃ vṛttiruktā caturvidhā || 16 ||

ഇതിനെ ആശ്രയിച്ചാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ ഇവിടെ തന്നേ പാപം കഴുകി സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ മൂന്നാം പാദത്തിൽ വൈശ്യജാതികളുടെ നാലുവിധ വൃത്തി പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു॥१६॥
