Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
This is a colophon marking the completion of a chapter; its significance is archival and traditional—preserving the Purāṇic transmission by clearly naming the section, topic (anukramaṇikā), and chapter number.
It does not directly teach bhakti; instead, it frames where teachings are located by concluding the chapter that catalogs the Vārāha Purāṇa’s contents—supporting devotional study by guiding readers to relevant narratives and doctrines.
The verse reflects a śāstric organizational method (anukramaṇikā/indexing), akin to textual discipline used in traditional learning; it is not a direct Vedāṅga lesson like vyākaraṇa or jyotiṣa, but it supports systematic study.
