न तु व्यर्थशतोद्घुष्टसंभावितधनो नरः एवं संचिन्त्य वेगेन समुत्तस्थौ महाबलः //

Transliteration

na tu vyarthaśatodghuṣṭasaṃbhāvitadhano naraḥ evaṃ saṃcintya vegena samuttasthau mahābalaḥ //

Translation

എന്നാൽ ധനവും പ്രതിഷ്ഠയും നൂറുതവണ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കപ്പെട്ട ആ മനുഷ്യൻ വ്യർഥസ്തുതിക്ക് പാത്രനായിരുന്നില്ല. ഇങ്ങനെ ചിന്തിച്ച് മഹാബലൻ ഉടൻ വേഗത്തിൽ എഴുന്നേറ്റു।
