sa tato bhrāmya vegena cikṣepāśvirathaṃ prati taṃ tu mudgaram āyāntam ālokyāmbaragocaram //

അവൻ ശക്തിയായി ചുറ്റി ആ മുദ്ഗരം അശ്വിരഥന്റെ നേരെ എറിഞ്ഞു. ആകാശമാർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ പാഞ്ഞുവരുന്നത് കണ്ട അശ്വിരഥൻ പ്രത്യുത്തരത്തിന് സജ്ജനായി.
