परस्परं व्यलीयन्त पृष्ठेषु व्यस्त्रपाणयः स्वेषु बाधे व्यलीयन्त गजेषु तुरगेषु च //

Transliteration

parasparaṃ vyalīyanta pṛṣṭheṣu vyastrapāṇayaḥ sveṣu bādhe vyalīyanta gajeṣu turageṣu ca //

Translation

കയ്യിൽ ആയുധങ്ങളുണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടും അവർ പരസ്പരം പിന്നിൽ ഒളിച്ചു; ആനകൾക്കും കുതിരകൾക്കും ഇടയിൽ സ്വന്തം സൈന്യത്തിൽ തന്നെ അവർ കൂടിക്കലർന്നു.
