gāḍhakaṇṭhagrahālagnasubhageṣṭajane tataḥ kiṃcidākulatāṃ prāpte menānetrāmbujadvaye //

Translation

അപ്പോൾ അവളുടെ പ്രിയനും സൗഭാഗ്യവാനും ആയവൻ കഴുത്തിൽ കട്ടിയായി ചേർന്നു പിടിച്ചു; അതിനാൽ മേനയുടെ താമരപോലെയുള്ള ഇരുകണ്ണുകളിൽ അല്പം വിറയൽ—ഭാവോദ്വേഗം—ഉയർന്നു।
