virahotkaṇṭhitā gāḍhaṃ harasaṃgamalālasā tayoḥ sutaptatapasoḥ saṃyogaḥ syācchubhānane //

വിരഹത്താൽ അത്യന്തം വ്യാകുലയായ അവൾ ഹരൻ (ശിവൻ) എന്നവനോടുള്ള സംഗമം അതീവമായി ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു. ഹേ ശുഭാനനേ, സുതപ്തമായ തപസ്സുള്ള ആ ഇരുവരുടെയും പുനഃസംയോഗം സംഭവിച്ചു.
