सेयम् उत्तानहस्तेति त्वयोक्ता मुनिपुंगव उत्तानहस्तता प्रोक्ता याचतामेव नित्यदा //

Transliteration

seyam uttānahasteti tvayoktā munipuṃgava uttānahastatā proktā yācatāmeva nityadā //

Translation

മുനിപുംഗവാ! നീ ‘ഉത്താനഹസ്ത’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞത് ഇതുതന്നെ. ‘ഉത്താനഹസ്തത’ എന്നത് നിത്യവും യാചിക്കുന്നവർക്കു മാത്രമുള്ള അവസ്ഥയെന്നു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
