मरुत्वती पुरा जज्ञ एतान्वै मरुतां गणान् अदितिः कश्यपाज्जज्ञ आदित्यान्द्वादशैव हि //

Transliteration

marutvatī purā jajña etānvai marutāṃ gaṇān aditiḥ kaśyapājjajña ādityāndvādaśaiva hi //

Translation

പുരാതനകാലത്ത് മരുത്വതി ഈ മരുതഗണങ്ങളെ പ്രസവിച്ചു; കൂടാതെ അദിതി കശ്യപനാൽ സത്യമായും പന്ത്രണ്ടു ആദിത്യരെ പ്രസവിച്ചു।
