Matsya Purana — The Pushkara Manifestation, Shloka 44

हविष्यं च वितानं च विधानशमितावपि वत्सरं चैव भूतिं च सर्वासुरनिषूदनम् //

haviṣyaṃ ca vitānaṃ ca vidhānaśamitāvapi vatsaraṃ caiva bhūtiṃ ca sarvāsuraniṣūdanam //

ഹവിഷ്യം (ആഹുതി-അന്നം)യും വിതാനം (യജ്ഞവിസ്താരം/ഛത്രരൂപ കർമ്മം)യും അർപ്പിക്കണം; വിധാനപ്രകാരം ലഭിക്കുന്ന ശമനവും ഇതിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇതിലൂടെ വർഷഫലം, സമൃദ്ധി, സർവ്വ അസുരനാശക ശക്തി ലഭിക്കുന്നു.
