FAQs

This verse does not describe Pralaya; it focuses on auspicious indicators—especially nakshatras and auspicious designations—used for selecting favorable times in ritual or sacred works.

It supports dharmic governance and household life by emphasizing choosing auspicious timings/names for major undertakings (consecrations, vows, building, donations), a standard Purāṇic guideline for ensuring welfare and prosperity.

It implies that works like temple building, icon installation, and consecration should be aligned with auspicious nakshatras (e.g., Rohiṇī) and favorable shubha-designations such as Lakṣmī and Viśveśā.
