Matsya Purana — The Pushkara Manifestation, Shloka 11

brahmaṇastu tadarthaṃ tu tadā bhūyaḥ samutthitaḥ śuśrūṣurasmi yuvayoḥ kiṃ karomi kṛtāñjaliḥ //

FAQs

Indirectly, it reflects the cosmic hierarchy in which Brahmā acts as an agent who stands ready to carry out divine instruction—an attitude central to creation (sarga) and re-creation after dissolution (pratisarga).

It models dharmic conduct: rising respectfully, offering folded hands, and asking what service is required—an ideal of humility, obedience to rightful authority, and readiness to act.

The verse signals ritual etiquette (añjali, respectful standing and inquiry). While not specifying Vāstu rules, it reflects the reverential protocol that frames many ritual and instruction-giving passages in the Matsya Purana.
