उत्पन्नाः शूद्रयोना तु भवच्छन्दे सुरोत्तम अन्धं वृद्धं च मां ज्ञात्वा सुदेष्णा महिषी तव प्राहिणोद् अवमानान्मे शूद्रां धात्रेयिकां नृप //

utpannāḥ śūdrayonā tu bhavacchande surottama andhaṃ vṛddhaṃ ca māṃ jñātvā sudeṣṇā mahiṣī tava prāhiṇod avamānānme śūdrāṃ dhātreyikāṃ nṛpa //

ഹേ ദേവോത്തമാ! നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇച്ഛപ്രകാരം തന്നെയാണ് ഞാൻ ശൂദ്രയോനിയിൽ ജനിച്ചത്. ഞാൻ അന്ധനും വൃദ്ധനും ആണെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞ് നിങ്ങളുടെ മഹിഷി സുദേഷ്ണാ അവമാനത്തോടെ എനിക്ക് ഒരു ശൂദ്ര ധാത്രിയെ (പാൽ കൊടുക്കുന്ന ദായയെ) അയച്ചു, ഹേ നൃപാ.
