संजयस्याभवत्पुत्रो वीरो नाम पुरंजयः जनमेजयो महाराज पुरंजयसुतो ऽभवत् //

Transliteration

saṃjayasyābhavatputro vīro nāma puraṃjayaḥ janamejayo mahārāja puraṃjayasuto 'bhavat //

Translation

സഞ്ജയന് ‘പുരഞ്ജയ’ എന്ന വീരപുത്രൻ ഉണ്ടായി; പുരഞ്ജയന്റെ പുത്രനായി മഹാരാജാ ജനമേജയൻ ജനിച്ചു.
