*शुक्र उवाच अधर्मात्त्वां विमुञ्चामि वरं वरय चेप्सितम् अस्मिन्विवाहे त्वं श्लाघ्यो रहः पापं नुदामि ते //

*śukra uvāca adharmāttvāṃ vimuñcāmi varaṃ varaya cepsitam asminvivāhe tvaṃ ślāghyo rahaḥ pāpaṃ nudāmi te //

ശുക്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അധർമ്മത്തിൽ നിന്ന് നിന്നെ ഞാൻ മോചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; ഇഷ്ടമായ വരം തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക. ഈ വിവാഹത്തിൽ നീ പ്രശംസനീയൻ; ഏകാന്തത്തിൽ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ പാപം നീക്കുന്നു।
