Adhyaya 91The Gods’ Hymn to Kātyāyanī and the Goddess’ Prophecy of Future Manifestations

विद्याः समास्तास्तव देवि भेदाः स्त्रियः समास्ताः सकला जगत्सु ।

त्वयैकया पूरितमम्बयैतत्का ते स्तुतिः स्तव्यपरा परोक्तिः ॥

vidyāḥ samastās tava devi bhedāḥ striyaḥ samastāḥ sakalā jagatsu | tvayaikayā pūritam ambayaitat kā te stutiḥ stavyaparā paroktiḥ ||

ദേവീ, സർവ്വവിദ്യകളും നിന്റെ രൂപങ്ങളാണ്; സർവ്വലോകങ്ങളിലുമുള്ള എല്ലാ സ്ത്രീകളും നിന്റെ രൂപങ്ങളാണ്. മാതാവേ, നിനക്കാൽ തന്നെയാണ് ഈ സമസ്ത ജഗത്ത് വ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. നിന്റെ സ്തുതി എന്താകാം—സ്തുത്യയായ നിന്നെ ഏതു വചനങ്ങൾ മതിയായി സ്തുതിക്കുമെന്നു?

Knowledge is sacred and should be pursued and used responsibly; additionally, the identification of all women with Devī implies an ethical mandate of dignity, protection, and non-exploitation.

Not a genealogical/manvantara passage; it is stuti. Conceptually it supports the purāṇic aim of dharma by grounding social ethics (respect) in theology (Devī’s immanence).

Vidyā is Devī’s revealing power: she both manifests as knowledge and remains beyond complete capture by speech—hence the confession that praise cannot fully contain her.
