स पपात महीपृष्ठे शस्त्रसंहतितो हतः ।
नीरक्तश्च महीपाल रक्तबीजो महासुरः ॥
sa papāta mahīpṛṣṭhe śastrasaṃhatito hataḥ | nīraktaś ca mahīpāla raktabījo mahāsuraḥ ||
ആയുധങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടപ്രഹാരത്തിൽ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ട അവൻ ഭൂമിയുടെ മേൽ വീണു. ഹേ രാജാവേ, മഹാസുരൻ രക്തബീജൻ രക്തശൂന്യനായി കിടന്നു।
