तस्य दूतस्य तद्वाक्यमाकर्ण्यासुरराट् ततः ।
सक्रोधः प्राह दैत्यानामधिपं धूम्रलोचनम् ॥
tasya dūtasya tadvākyam ākarnyāsurarāṭ tataḥ | sa krodhaḥ prāha daityānām adhipaṃ dhūmralocanam ||
ദൂതന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട അസുരരാജാവ് ക്രോധത്തോടെ ജ്വലിച്ചു; പിന്നെ ദൈത്യപ്രധാനനായ ധൂമ്രലോചനനോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
