सापि देवी ततस्तानि शस्त्राण्यस्त्राणि चण्डिका ।
लीलयैव प्रचिच्छेद निजशस्त्रास्त्रवर्षिणी ॥
sāpi devī tatastāni śastrāṇyastrāṇi caṇḍikā / līlayaiva praciccheda nijaśastrāstravarṣiṇī
അപ്പോൾ ദേവി ചണ്ഡിക ലീലാഭാവത്തോടെ ആ ശസ്ത്രങ്ങളും പ്രക്ഷേപാസ്ത്രങ്ങളും ഖണ്ഡംഖണ്ഡമായി മുറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; താനേ തന്റെ ശസ്ത്രങ്ങളും ദിവ്യാസ്ത്രങ്ങളും മഴപോലെ വർഷിപ്പിച്ചു।
