एवमेषा समुत्पन्ना ब्रह्मणा संस्तुता स्वयम् ।
प्रभावमस्या देव्यास्तु भूयः शृणु वदामि ते ॥
evam eṣā samutpannā brahmaṇā saṃstutā svayam | prabhāvam asyā devyās tu bhūyaḥ śṛṇu vadāmi te ||
ഇങ്ങനെ ആ ദേവി പ്രത്യക്ഷയായി, സ്വയം ബ്രഹ്മാവാൽ സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഇനി വീണ്ടും കേൾക്കുക; ആ ദേവിയുടെ മഹാത്മ്യം ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് പറയുന്നു.
