Adhyaya 78 — Dhumralochana
शातितास्तेजसो भागा ये त्वष्ट्रा दश पञ्च च ।
त्वष्ट्रैव तेन शर्वस्य कृतं शूलं महात्मना ॥
śātitās tejaso bhāgā ye tvaṣṭrā daśa pañca ca | tvaṣṭraiva tena śarvasya kṛtaṃ śūlaṃ mahātmanā ||
ആ തേജസ്സിന്റെ അംശങ്ങളെ ത്വഷ്ടാവ് പതിനഞ്ചായി വിഭജിച്ചു. അതുകൊണ്ട് മഹാത്മാവായ ത്വഷ്ടാവ് ശർവൻ (ശിവൻ) വേണ്ടി ശൂലം (ത്രിശൂലം) നിർമ്മിച്ചു.
