The verse asserts that sacred revelation (Veda) is not merely text but a living cosmic principle embodied in the Supreme—here identified with the Goddess. Devotion is thus oriented to the source of dharma and knowledge, not only its outward forms.
Primarily aligns with Vaṃśānucarita/Carita (narrative of divine deeds) and indirectly with Sarga (cosmic principles), since the Vedas are presented as emanating from the deity’s body.
The ‘limbs’ producing Sāman hints at the cosmos as the deity’s body (śarīra-bhāva) and mantra as vibrational expression of the divine. The Vedas are treated as modalities of one consciousness-power (cit-śakti).
