तद्गृह्यतां मया दत्ता तुभ्यं कन्या नराधिप ।

प्रियेत्यामन्त्रिता चेयं विचारं कुरुषे कथम् ॥

tad gṛhyatāṃ mayā dattā tubhyaṃ kanyā narādhipa / priyety āmantritā ceyaṃ vicāraṃ kuruṣe katham

അതുകൊണ്ട് അവളെ സ്വീകരിക്ക; ഹേ രാജാവേ, ഈ കന്യയെ ഞാൻ നിനക്കു ദത്തമായി നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അവളെയും ‘പ്രിയേ’ എന്നു വിളിച്ചപ്പോൾ (അവൾ സമ്മതിച്ചു). പിന്നെ നീ ഇനിയും എന്തിന് മടിച്ചു ആലോചിക്കുന്നു?
