Adhyaya 75The Fall and Restoration of Revatī Nakṣatra and the Birth of Raivata Manu

स तस्य विधिवच्चक्रे जातकर्मादिकाः क्रियाः ।

तथोपनयनादींश्च स चाशीলোऽभवन्मुने ॥

sa tasya vidhivac cakre jātakarmādikāḥ kriyāḥ | tathopanayanādīṃś ca sa cāśīlo 'bhavan mune ||

അവനുവേണ്ടി ജാതകർമ്മം മുതലായ ജന്മസംസ്കാരങ്ങളും, ഉപനയനം മുതലായ കർമങ്ങളും വിധിപൂർവം നിർവഹിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും, ഹേ മുനേ, ആ പുത്രൻ ദുർവൃത്തനായി മാറി.
