सदारेण क्रियाः कार्याः श्रौताः स्मार्ता वषट्क्रियाः ।

न मे न्यूनाः कृताः काश्चिद्यावदद्य महामुने ॥

sadāreṇa kriyāḥ kāryāḥ śrautāḥ smārtā vaṣaṭkriyāḥ /

na me nyūnāḥ kṛtāḥ kāścid yāvad adya mahāmune

Translation

ഭാര്യയോടൊപ്പം ഞാൻ ചെയ്യേണ്ട കർമങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തു—ശ്രൗതവും സ്മാർത്തവും, വഷട്-ആഹുതികളോടുകൂടി; മഹർഷേ, ഇന്നുവരെ അവയിൽ ഒന്നും എന്റെ ഭാഗത്ത് അപൂർണ്ണമായി നടന്നിട്ടില്ല.
