राजोवाच स्वभावं वयमश्नीमस्त्वयोक्तं यन्निशाचर ।

तदर्थिनो वयं येन कार्येण शृणु तन्मम ॥

rājovāca svabhāvaṃ vayam aśnīmas tvayoktaṃ yan niśācara |

tad-arthino vayaṃ yena kāryeṇa śṛṇu tan mama ||

രാജാവ് പറഞ്ഞു— ഹേ നിശാചരാ, നീ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ കാര്യങ്ങളെ അവയുടെ സ്വഭാവപ്രകാരം ഞങ്ങൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നു. ഞങ്ങൾക്കും ഒരു ആവശ്യമാണ്— ആ പ്രസാദത്തിനുപകരം വേണ്ട പ്രവർത്തി കേൾക്കുക।
