Adhyaya 70 — Meditation on Devi
राक्षस उवाच मन्त्रवित् स द्विजश्रेष्ठो यज्ञे यज्ञे गतस्य मे ।
रक्षोघ्नमन्त्रपठनात् करोत्युच्चाटनं नृप ॥
rākṣasa uvāca mantravit sa dvijaśreṣṭho yajñe yajñe gatasya me | rakṣoghnamantrapaṭhanāt karoty uccāṭanaṃ nṛpa ||
രാക്ഷസൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ രാജാവേ, ആ ബ്രാഹ്മണശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ മന്ത്രവിദ്യാവാൻ. ഞാൻ യാഗത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുമ്പോഴൊക്കെയും, രാക്ഷസഘ്ന മന്ത്രങ്ങൾ ജപിച്ച് എന്നെ അകറ്റി ഓടിക്കുന്നു.
